There are many forms that use any number of data elements.
XBRL and the International Digital Ecosystem Architecture (IDEA) enables each data element to be unique and defined. The IDEA data sets will enable stakeholders to utilize the data elements required for any form to guarantee "apples to apples" data exchange.
Stakeholders can incorporate the data elements for consistency across the digital ecosystem, while retaining the specific text. Enabling proprietary text to be combined with standardized data elements. There is no limit to the number of forms and documents.
Not every data element is used in every document, but the objective is for every document to have the XBRL data elements it requires.
Stakeholders in this early phase can simply provide the data elements in an excel or word document to be manually imported into any system.
The collaboration will seek to identify any additional data elements that should be incorporated into the XBRL taxonomy for: (1) “Applicant Qualification Profile”; (2) “Surety Bond”; (3) “Agreement”; & (4) “Application for Payment”.
This process and engagement will help system designers and stakeholders work with the digital ecosystem to develop finalized data sets that can be shared via API or other methods.
As data sets are formalized more data sets will be explored that provide operational gains across multiple stakeholders, public and private.
